The art of Zen is something that the ancients seem to have truly built upon not only with their religion but their buildings, their homes, superstitions; in fact their very lives in general reflect inner peace of mind, body and spirit. Must one travel to Japan, China or some other crowded twist trap?
Getting Away From It All
I don’t know about you but in order for me to achieve some kind of peace of mind I need to get away from people, traffic, telephones, computers and the lot. Now to some people that might mean pitching a tent in the middle of the wilderness; not my idea of a good time… Sorry. Being waited on hand and foot with a view of clear blue ocean and sandy white beaches is my idea of really getting away. No hustle and bustle—just calm serenity; no honking and racing engines—just a couple of golf carts here and there; no smoggy chemical filled air—just a fresh sea breeze. Where does one find this amazing type of atmosphere? Right here: http://www.onlyexclusivetravel.com/2428/818/objects/resorts/soneva-gili-by-six-senses.html
Be At Peace With Nature And Yourself
Few things encourage peace of mind like the sound of the clear blue ocean crashing onto the beautiful, white sandy beach. Now imagine yourself living out over that water in a tropical villa. Imagine being in a spa actually located under the water; watching marine life swim by in the midst of their daily routines. The land and the atmosphere are as unspoiled as they can possibly be while still affording you the opportunity to enjoy yourself completely and totally. You will never again see the sights, hear the sounds and feel the overall contentedness that you can achieve one of the islands of Maldives.
Zen may be just a word to you that fits nicely into a three square space on a crossword, so let me put it in another word that may be closer to home… Awesome.
